We are the FIRST Robotics Competition team 7053 Robo Huskies
from Heritage regional high school from Saint-Hubert, Quebec.
The idea was raised by Joe Paduano, the father of one of the school’s
students, who already started a robotics team for FIRST Robotics
Competition and FIRST LEGO League Competition. Since our school
already has a noontime robotics club using Lego Mindstorm robots,
we considered this to be the next step to further challenge our students.
Our main goal is to participate and succeed in advancing at
the tournament. Also, our vision goes beyond the tournament. We
would like to encourage our students to gain a better understanding
of tomorrow’s technologies, organize activities, and participate in
aerospace workshops.
We are also considering a robotics concentration in the near future as
an alternative to sports programs.
